She also came bearing gifts for the girls. In anticipation of our beach trip next month, she got the girls swimsuit cover-ups, flip-flops and sunglasses. From the Disney store. Now, my mom has pulled this crap on me before, so I warn you, moms of small children...don't ever -- EVER! -- let your retired parents live in close proximity to a Disney store. Or else this is what you end up with:
Luckily, the food, wine, adult conversation and help with bedtime more than made up for the fact that I will be known as "that mom" (whose kids wear character clothing) at pool this weekend.

OH boy do they look cute! PopPop did mention that he thought you were trying to get away from "The Princesses" but I thought: What's the harm in little seasonal princess stuff? - beach cover, sunglasses, flip flops - oh, and a babin' suit. Well,at least they don't have a princess beach towel.
I had a great time with 3 of my favorite 5 girls. Love, Nonna
The princesses look so cute and so happy!

I'm with you on having grandma nearby. The kids spent the night last night so we could go out to dinner for our anniversary. The kids love it, the grandparents love it, and we LOVE it.
My In-Laws sent Mikayla a bathing suit, skirt coverup, dress cover up, sunglasses, and a dress. Plus $200.00 Disney Dollars before we went to Disney World in May. It looks like we bought the Disney Store, on top of it we have every Princess dress and shoes in the world in our house. lol
