The girls woke up this morning and got dressed independently of each other. A wanted to wear her polka dot skirt, which she paired with her pink and orange sandals. E had noted that it was cloudy out and insisted on wearing her Hello Kitty rain boots, along with some shorts and a t-shirt (because apparently you can't wear a dress when it's about to rain...who knew?).
When the girls saw each other in the hallway, A immediately ran back to her room to find
her Hello Kitty rainboots and E ran back to her room to put on
her polka dot skirt.

Very cute! Love the knee sox peeking out above the boots. Are those argyle sox, I see?
Love,

I think you have some very fashion forward girls there! I think they are just adorable. Marguerite
Good eye, Mom...E is wearing argyle knee socks. And A is wearing striped knee socks in the same color scheme. And yes, they based their sock decisions on being the same.
It's like their twins...except for that whole different ages thing.
I mean, it's like they're twins...the content editor couldn't not let that one slide.
AWWWW!
And when they are adults, they will probably show up at dinner wearing the same thing too! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!
