Well, as soon as arrived, the book was a *big* hit...not just with A but with E, too. You see, on the inscription we had inscribed "To A...Love, Mommy, Daddy and E" and E loved seeing her name, too. So much so, that my parents actually used Feener's free shipping code (FSD13665) to order My Very Own Fairy Tale as a present for E's birthday.
To be honest with you, though I like them both, I would recommend the My Very Own Name book over My Very Own Fairy Tale. I like the story a bit better...it more specifically spells out her name (both A and E can now spell A's name!)...and I like the illustrations better. However, I honestly don't think you can go wrong with either.
This would totally make a great signature baby gift...you know, if you are on top of things enough to get baby gifts out in a timely manner. I imagine that my mom and I will fight over who will purchase this for Cousin Slacker. And, you can use the free shipping code (FSD13665) and save a litte moolah!

The books are so cute.
I think grandmother trumps aunt, so I get to give the book to new baby.

We got "My Very Own Fairy Tale" for Savannah's b-day (last year?) cuz I have a thing for fairies and flowers. I like it very much!
