cows 'n corn

I chaperoned E and A on a field trip to a local farm, Cows 'n Corn, this morning. We took a hayride, did the corn maze, learned about milking cows, made butter and ate ice cream. Some of E's best buds were there. It was tons of fun, despite the entire group being underdressed for the suprisingly blustery conditions.

After a "picnic" lunch with Paige and her mom in their Suburban, we headed back. I dropped the girls off and am working the rest of the afternoon. It was one of those days where I'm thankful that my job offers the flexibility to do this sort of thing.
