While I navigated the world of frame sizes and mats, John wheeled the girls around and let them pick out three (3!) items each. They each got a foam visor (E's was a tiara and A's was a tiger); a foam picture frame (E's was Dora and A's was Diego); and a big-ass activity pad (E's was The Princesses and A's was Diego). The initial excitement of 99% of the loot has worn off...the picture frames still sit empty, E has managed to shred her (and A's) activity book using the included scissors and I have worn the tiger visor more than A.
But the tiara? E wears it pretty much all the time. Especially after yours truly broke out a Sharpie and her best sorority girl penmanship to declare that the tiara is, in fact, Princess E's.

disproprotionately large and oblong-shaped head
that line had me laughing!!!!!!!
The Dora description totally made me LOL! I having a feeling the Slacker family will be rejoicing to say good-bye to Dora!
She definitely starts to wear on your after a while.
Rachel made a foam tiara for a third birthday party she went to and wore it constantly. Then her brother proceeded to tear all the foam stickers off - and apparently used it as a chew toy; there are bite marks all over it. Needless to say she lost some of her love for it, but luckily we passed it on to Tess and now she wears is all the time too.
Ohh... how does Foxy John's look? I am excited to see it.
so cute-don't you love it? Harrison is pretty much done with his Diego phase and talks more and more about Lightning McQueen and Spiderman...
My DD loves those foam crowns the best...over a sparkly tiara any day! Too cute!
Also, thank goodness we never got into Dora! For some reason, DD got into Strawberry Shortcake before she hit the princess stage. Luckily, SS is a little more tolerable! :)
