According to my elementary school teacher sister, gift cards are always appreciated rather than random crap. So, I'm thinking Target gift cards. Unless you think Panera or Starbucks will be better. (What if they don't like overpriced sandwiches or coffee, though?) But how much? Remember I have to buy four teacher gifts. Is $15 too cheap? $20? $10?
So, comment. Now. Tell me your vote on Gift Card store AND denomination.
Miss Anya, Idalia, Elizabeth and Robin thank you in advance.

We did $5 gift cards for Cariboo Coffee for each teacher, and they each got a candy cane that H gave to her classmates as well. When I was a teacher the best gift I ever got was one for Starbucks - EVER. Perfect because the only thing better than overpriced coffee is getting it for FREE!
We also buy books for the classroom during the book fair and in honor of Haven's birthday.
And you thought you were SO TOGETHER this year. Ha ha ha.
As a former teacher. I *HEART* gift cards. Since you have 4 teachers to buy for I think $10 is plenty. I would go for starbucks or panera's-who doesn't love those 2 places. That way they are more likely to buy for themselves...oh and I gave you a shout-out on my blog...the nutella kisses ROCKED! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
We gave gift cards, but I guess I am an over spender (or a former teacher still bitter at crappy gifts) We gave each teacher $25. For one teacher I did Kohls, the others a local restaurant. Unfortunately (only at gift time, normally I am happy about it), Maura and Maggie both have 3 teachers each so it cost us a little more than I wanted to spend.
we all pitched in 20 bucks to get one big gift card for all 3 teachers..
I did $10 each for Jake's teachers (a mom went in and got them a big gift card with everyone's money) and Rachel's teachers I got Starbucks. Can't beat Starbucks. And even though I'm not technically a teacher, I still the occasional gift and that's also my favorite to recieve. Plus this year they come in super cute mittens so no need for a card.
