she bangs

Not going to lie to you, internet peeps, but I'm a little disappointed in you. When I posted pictures from the face-painting on Monday, I figured at least one of you would notice that all three of us Slacker ladies had gotten hair cuts. Yeah yeah, E's is a little hard to tell because it's all preppied up in the pink headband. But A's is significantly shorter and a bit curlier. And mine? How could you have missed mine?

 

When I got my hair cut on Friday, I officially said, "Good bye, Katie Homes...hello, Eva Longoria!" Using Eva's latest cut as my inspiration, I got bangs cut for the first time in 20 years. I also think my hair is much darker than usually...but when I asked John about it, he said that it always looks this way. I think that it just looks darker since I hadn't gotten it colored since December so all of my gray hairs growing in made it look it lighter it had faded.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with the new 'do. It's a little harder to wrangle when I work out, and I'm trying to get used to not tucking everything behind my ear. But so far...so good!

A's hair is a lot less messy looking. She can go without a barrette and not look like a street urchin! Bonus!

 

The stylist at SuperCuts did a great job with E's hair. She layered it so that we can continue to grow out her hair from the self-inflicted Bang Cut of 2008. Though it's funny becauase she basically got the exact same cut as I did. Except hers isn't black. And it cost 90% less than mine did.
