so it's not business casual...

Mondays (and Fridays...and whatever other days I can finnagle, for that matter) are my work-from-home days. And, I admit it, I don't exactly dress to impress on these days. So what if I'm wearing sweats and a tee-shirt? So what if I haven't showered? My interactions with people are via the phone, e-mail and IM...they have no idea that I'm a sloth.

Today, however, our next-door neighbor came delivering Girl Scout cookies (which is another post in itself. Samoas, Thin Mints, Tagalongs...oh how I love thee!). As I was going to get my wallet, her younger snot-nosed brother shouts out,
"Miss Slacker! Are you still wearing your pajamas?"
Embarassing? A little bit. But it won't prompt me to change when I go pick the girls up from school or anything.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....girl scout cookies! We got our first round last week and we have more coming. I am craving a frozen thin mint cookie- and I don't like chocolate or mint!

I did not order any Girl Scout cookies this year-and after reading that I am craving them!

Marathon Mom...c'mon over to my house because we have *two* boxes of Thin Mints. John and I totally don't coordinate our cookie purchasing efforts so we always end up with so many boxes.

I'm planning on making a batch of homemade Thin Mint ice cream this weekend, as well!

Are you saving some of that thin mint ice cream for the house guests?

Autumn...OF COURSE! I'm *making* it for my house guests. Though it's your call on whether we tell the boys (or the little girls for that matter!) that it even exists!

I ran mail to my mailbox in footed jammies once.... I didn't see a guy who lives in our neighborhood until too late! I just smiled and said, "Isn't it great? I so short, they still make them in my size!" He just guffawed at me. I ran back into my house wholly embarrassed. It was only like 11 in the morning....
