The rest of the weekend was relatively quiet, but good. We had some fantastic doughnuts and watched as our girls immediately went into sugar shock (we're talking sprinting-round-the-restaurant sugar high). We grocery shopped. We spent a lot of time outside yesterday, too, enjoying the unseasonably warm weather.
The only downside of the weekend was that when John and the girls went to Target to get A her own tennis racket (E already had one), he bought E a Hannah Montana microphone. One that lights up and plays a 20 second clip of what could quite possibly be the worlds most annoying song ever. And E brought it with her everywhere this weekend and played that #&$^%(#)@*@ song every 20 seconds. E loves it. A loves it (and is now running around yelling "Anna Ontana! Anna Ontana!") The only bright spot in this is that John is more annoyed by the damn thing than I am...which is good because he who buys the annoying toy should suffer greatly for it.

Law of Shopping: It is physically impossible to leave Target with ONLY the thing you went there to buy.
I agree with the Law of Shopping at Target!
Oh my! Big mistake! I clicked on the donut place's website! I'll have a Peppermint Patty hole in one!!!
yeah- Savannah got a HM guitar for Christmas (thanks, grandma) and I hear snipettes of those songs all the time. But it is really cute to see her singing along to Hannah Buh-tana, as she calls her.
