So this morning was A's first day back at school since the Friday before Christmas. It was also her first day in the Toddler's room.
It did not go well.
It started out fine. A was happy as a clam, carrying her lunchbox into school. But she was a hysterical mess as soon as we stepped foot in her room. I ended up taking her with me to E's room to drop her off...and she would barely let me put her down to unpack E's things. (By the way, E was great. Couldn't have cared less that I was leaving her.)
We went back to her room, where she held on for dear life and cried, cried, cried. It was so pathetic. The teachers were great...they all were coming over and trying to distract her. I ended up leaving her with Miss Caitlyn (who is a fave of E's) with her still crying. Hopefully, she'll be back to her old school-loving self in no time.

I'm dreading next Monday. I'm starting my new job, Brian is traveling for a job interview and the kids are heading back to school all on the same day.
By the way, I like you're new format header.
This is so hard. I remember those days with Ryan when he was about A's age. NOT fun. Hang in there.
