I'll be using this opportunity to find out some riveting facts about my house...namely whether we have gas or electric heat. Seriously, I have absolutely no idea since we have electricity (duh) AND a gas stove. But, I'm pretty sure telling the repair dispatcher that I didn't know just added eleventy-thousand dollars to the bill.
In other news, E has started to rebel against the daycare's uniform policy. She has to wear a polo shirt with the school's logo on it Monday through Thursday, and she can wear whatever she wants on Fridays. Every morning she asks, "Is it uniform day or something-else day?" Well, the past few days she has been saying she wants to wear something else even though it's uniform day. We compromised yesterday by wearing a cardigan on top, and today by wearing a short-sleeved uniform top with a fun long-sleeved shirt underneath. But, I'm sensing that things are going to be more and more of a struggle from here on out.
Truth be told, I don't like the uniform policy...so I'm more than willing to bend the rules a bit. Case in point...here's a picture of E going to school in her uniform back in the fall.

Re: nail polish. I just do it all in a row- no breaks in between.
I start on my left hand and go pinky to thumb and go thumb to pink on my right, then start over with the next coat....
Let me know if that doesn't make sense...
so, gas or electric?
Gas furnace! That costs several hundred dollars when the flame sensing something-or-other goes out along with the which-a-macalit temperature gauge.
Good times, being a houseowner...
E is so freaking cute! I LOVE those tights? Can I have some for myself? No lie, when I was teaching elementary school, I actually wore tights like that!
She is too cute-and I love the way you spiced up the uniform! I would do the same thing.
