memoirs of a geisha

When we got home from school yesterday, E ran upstairs to change. She couldn't decide on whether she wanted to wear her fairy socks or her flip flops. So she decided on both. Here is a close-up of the fashion-forward footwear.
In other news, I think A can officially be considered a blond. John and I walked to pick up the girls and on the way home, with her hair glistening in the sun...I noticed there are strands that are almost white. Now it doesn't look too blond in this picture...But, compared to this one taken at 7 weeks...the difference is amazing. And, do your kiddos have bitchin' tans like mine do? I swear I rub them down in SPF 100000 and yet they are still getting really dark. Me, however? Pasty as ever.

Yes, I have two Coppertone babies over here too, while I'm just pale and freckly. You have to focus on the "no wrinkles at 50" benefit, I find. Otherwise it's WAY too easy to wallow in pasty-ville.

Yup...Savannah is a blue-eyed blond, with a surfer tan! Mama is a little darker than "creme" thanks to some time outside and Dove energy glow lotion...

Precious pictures!!

I know what you mean about the sunscreen. I just keep thinking at least JBB isn't sunburned. I am pasty as can be...that is, without my ultimate fake-bakery (L'oreal sublime self tanner)!

So cute!!! Mine tan so well, especially Will. He looks so handsome with a golden tan and his sun kissed hair!

My kids are as white as they want to be, just like me. I say they make me look tan, which is bad.

BTW, do you have any suggestions on self tanner lotions?

They're adorable, no matter what their skin tone is. And remember: pale skin isn't pasty! It's PROTECTED.

Amelia is tan too, it drives me crazy, I am a religious sunblocker. She is also getting some golden locks. I love summer.
