You know, there's not many times that I can say this...but I could not *wait* for this weekend to end. In a nutshell, this weekend sucked. It involved not one, but two, trips to the doctor for A. One on Saturday morning was for an ear infection diagnosis. The other was on Sunday to the Urgent Care center to glue a cut on her forehead together after she ran head first into a corner. John also caught the mystery illness plaguing Chez Slacker and spent a good bit of Sunday in bed.

Since A was sick, we couldn't go up to Philly to Sean and Autumn's annual St. Patrick's Day party, which was a huge bummer. This was their 6th annual, and now we've now missed two in a row. Here's a picture of E with her friends Isabel and Maura at the 2nd Annual party.
E, Maura, and Maggie were going to spend the night at Isabel and her sister Chloe's house for their first-ever slumber party. Since E missed it, John took her to "Horton Hears a Hoo" yesterday while A and I went to the Urgent Medical Care. (By the way, why not call a spade a spade...it's not Urgent Medical Care, it's Your-Regular-Doctor's-Office-is-Closed-So-Where-Else-You-Gonna-Go-Care.) She really liked it, and did much better than at "Enchanted", where she got antsy and bored toward the end.

So Monday is here! Yippee! The antibiotics are doing their job, there are no gaping head wounds and both girls are at school today. I've got a To-do list a mile long, mainly stuff that I should have done this weekend if I wasn't stuck in waiting rooms or caring for sick children/husbands. But it's St. Patrick's Day, so we've got Guinness in the fridge so it can't be that bad.
