alive and (barely) kicking

I've got a bit of a cold this week...so I've been walking around in a fog and trying to make it through in one piece. Every time I think I'm about to turn the corner, I almost instanaeously start to feel worse again. It looks like the kiddos will be hit by this as well, if the whineyness levels tonight were any indication. Add to that a rainy forecast that threatens our planned outing to the neighborhood Halloween festival...I tell ya this might turn out to be the type of weekend in which I'm begging for Monday to arrive!
