So the menu for tonight at the Slacker house was this recipe for Pasta Jambalaya. By no means is the the *best meal ever*, but it's easy to make, pretty tasty, reasonably healthy and makes great leftovers for lunch.
So, what's the problem? My picky eater.
Nope, it's not A or E...I suspect that they will like this because they both love pasta and black beans. My problem "child" is John. He doesn't like the concept of turkey in any form other than sandwich meat or Thanksgiving dinner. On the rare occasion I've snuck it into a meal, he's fine...until I tell him what it was and then he's all "Ewwww! I really didn't like it!"
He called a bit ago and informed me that he "forgot" what I had planned for dinner tonight and ate the Pasta Jambalaya from here, so could we not have it for dinner as well? Since I might be a little late in getting home tonight anyway, he's just going to take the girls out to dinner instead.
Oh well...that just means more leftovers for me.

We have had that happen at our house- Rich comes home AFTER I have made dinner and it is ready, eats two bites and says 'I had this same thing for lunch at McCormick's or Capital Grill'. And I know they do it better, so he doesn't eat much!! And he too refuses to eat certain things and if he doesn't know they are in something, he LOVES it!
Hi there--thanks for stopping by my blog! This is too funny about your husband! I think my solution would have been to let him cook!
