ew! ew! ew!

There's been a confirmed lice case at A and E's school, in a class that E occasionally goes to. Apparently it was just eggs(ew!) and the dirty bastard kid was at school for 2 1/2 hours before being sent home.

Should I scrub them down with bleach in garage when I pick them up? Or should I do it in the parking lot before I let them in the car?

Check with KiKi. At her school, even some teachers got it. EW!!!

I don't think you do anything until you see the varmits or whatever they leave behind. The stuff it too strong to use as a preventative but it can't hurt to wash everything thoroughly.

Rachel's school had lice last year - not her classroom though. I think it's more common than we'd like to think. I know my sister's school has already been dealing with it and it's only been open a few months. Super yuck.

Oh yeah, we just had an OUTBREAK at my school!!! 12 teachers were sent home, along with tons of kids. Disgusting! Although I don't think anything prevents the gross little parasites, you could try shampooing with tea tree oil. It is supposed to help.

My head is itching already! Good luck!
